Responsibilities
  • Provide routine patient care under the supervision of a professional nurse, including assisting with daily living activities, recording vital signs, facilitating psycho-educational groups, and utilizing crisis intervention techniques as needed.
  • Assist patients with activities such as supervision, laundry, bathing, and toileting.
  • Conduct patient searches at admission, after passes, or as clinically indicated under RN guidance.
  • Model healthy interpersonal relationships and demonstrate appropriate behavior for patients, families, and staff.
Qualifications
Required:
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to patient needs, and demonstrate accountability, teamwork, ongoing education, and patient-focused care.
Preferred:
  • Experience or certification in phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs, or blood sugar testing.
  • At least 1 year of behavioral health experience in a hospital setting.
  • Certification as Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, or completion of a PCT program including clinical components.
Certifications:
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of employment.
Additional Information

Starting pay is approximately $21.09/hour, with potential shift differentials and performance incentives. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and retirement plans.
