Perimeter Behavioral Health of Garland is a leading provider of inpatient and outpatient mental health treatment for youth, adolescents, and seniors. We focus on comprehensive, individualized care to help patients overcome mental health and behavioral challenges. Our services include inpatient psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment centers, and outpatient therapies.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference as a Mental Health Technician. You will provide compassionate, personalized care to support patient recovery and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient behavior and document observations
• Model and teach life skills to promote independence
• Escort patients and assist with daily activities
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment
• Provide de-escalation and physical intervention as needed (training provided)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare, behavioral, or social services preferred
• Experience in psychology, human services, nursing, or social work is a plus
• Ability to work a rotating schedule, including nights and weekends
• Physical ability to assist with patient interventions
