Three Rivers Midlands seeks a Per Diem Mental Health Technician (2nd Shift) to join its residential and RBH program for youth aged 11–18 with diverse psychiatric needs.

The MHT collaborates with the treatment team to implement the master treatment plan, assists nurses, maintains therapeutic boundaries, and supports residents through daily activities while ensuring safety and engagement.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field with a minimum of 1 year of direct care experience working with adolescents and children in a Residential Treatment Facility, educational or juvenile setting.
• Valid SC Drivers License preferred.
• Requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess knowledge of therapeutic relationships, therapeutic processes, adolescent growth and development, limit-setting and behavior management.

Responsabilidades

• The Mental Health Technician (MHT) works closely with all members of the residential and clinical treatment team.
• Plays an integral part of assuring that the resident program schedule and resident master treatment plan (MTP) are carried out as planned by the Team.
• Performs various duties assisting nurses in the psychiatric and physical treatment and care of residents in accordance with established methods and procedures of the facility.
• Interacts closely with residents remaining engaged in the various activities and events that residents experience throughout the treatment day.
• Interacts with residents in a therapeutic manner at all times and assists other staff to also maintain appropriate boundaries.

We treat males and females ages 11-18 for a wide spectrum of psychiatric issues, addictive behaviors, and chemical dependency relate d illnesses.

The Mental Health Technician Key Responsibilities include:

The Mental Health Technician (MHT) works closely with all members of the residential and clinical treatment team. This is a Per Diem Position.

Per Diem staff are required to work 03 holidays per calendar year, one being either Thanksgiving or Christmas.
