Job Summary

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Mental Health Technician (MHT) provides direct patient care and participates in creating a therapeutic milieu.

Essential Responsibilities
  1. Identify and report house cleaning and equipment issues.
  2. Participate in inventory management and ensure a clean, safe environment.
  3. Assist patients with daily living activities, hygiene, and nutrition.
  4. Support patients during tests, exams, and procedures, ensuring safety during transfers and outings.
  5. Maintain professional growth through mandatory training and feedback.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Licenses: BLS Certification preferred; Nursing Assistant certification (LNA) preferred.
  • Experience: 0-1 year preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to collaborate, operate EHR systems, manage priorities, and communicate effectively. CPI training required within 30 days of hire.
