Job summary

Monte Nido Clementine Hudson Valley in South Salem, NY is seeking a Part Time Mental Health Technician/Recovery Coach to support adolescents in a residential treatment setting. You will work weekend and weekend-day shifts (Sat 7am-6pm; Sun 10am-9pm and 2pm-10pm) and assist in meal supervision, treatment-plan support, and group activities as part of a compassionate, multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Psychology preferred.
• Two years post-high school education required.
• One year of mental/behavioral health experience is highly desired (and required in some states).
• Valid state-issued Driver’s License with safe driving history.
• Good communication and client relations skills; service orientation; flexibility; and the ability to work as a member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support clients through recovery as part of their treatment plan.
• Engage clients to develop healthy connections with peers and staff.
• Assist in meal preparation and supervise client meals and snacks.
• Expose clients to therapeutic groups and develop core clinical skills.
• Conduct rounds and provide observations.
• Occasionally drive clients off-site for appointments and activities.

Monte Nido Clementine Hudson Valley, located in South Salem, NY is a residential treatment program exclusively for adolescents seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction.

At Monte Nido Clementine, we support adolescents and their families on the path to full recovery by preparing each adolescent to navigate the challenges of life free of the eating disorder. We provide the empathy, education, and support to families as partners in the recovery process. We help each adolescent to replace the eating disorder with healthy skills and a deep understanding of how to live a life that reflects their own unique individuality.

We are seeking a Part Time Mental Health Technician/Recovery Coach to join the Clementine team.
