Job summary

Clementine NorthShore in Northport, NY is seeking a part-time Mental Health Technician/Recovery Coach to join the Monte Nido team. You will support adolescents on their recovery journey, align with the treatment plan, and help them build healthy connections within the milieu and with staff.

The role offers $17-$22/hr, a Friday–Saturday 7:15am–7:15pm shift, and a path to professional development within a comprehensive benefits package. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Psychology preferred; minimum two years post-high school education.
• One year of experience in a mental/behavioral health setting is desirable and may be required in some states.
• Valid state driver’s license with safe driving history.

Responsibilities

• Key player in supporting clients through their recovery journey.
• Provide support and intervention aligned with the client’s treatment plan.
• Engage clients with healthy connections within the milieu and the team.
• Assist in food preparation and supervision of meals and snacks.
• Expose clients to therapeutic groups and help develop core skills.
• Conduct rounds and provide observations.
• Occasionally drive clients off-site for appointments and activities.

Clementine Northshore, located in Northport, NY is a residential treatment program exclusively for adolescents seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction.

At Clementine, we support adolescents and their families on the path to full recovery by preparing each adolescent to navigate the challenges of life free of the eating disorder. We provide the empathy, education, and support to families as partners in the recovery process. We help each adolescent to replace the eating disorder with healthy skills and a deep understanding of how to live a life that reflects their own unique individuality.

We are seeking a part time Mental Health Technician/Recovery Coach to join the Monte Nido team.

Salary: $17-$22/hr

• We require good communication and client relations skills; service orientation; flexibility; and the ability to work as a member of a team.
