Mental Health Technicians (MHT) at Friends Hospital assist in the direct care and management of patients across all age ranges with medical and behavioral issues, as directed by the treatment team. MHTs facilitate and conduct groups, assist with unit programming, and ensure patients are engaged in active treatment at all times. They support daily leisure activities and all activities related to daily living within the patients' functional abilities and developmental levels.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in human services (e.g., psychology, sociology, counseling, criminal justice, pastoral counseling, elementary/special education, family therapy).

High school diploma or GED plus 2 years of experience in the human service field.
