About the Role:

We are seeking Mental Health/Developmental Disabilities Technicians (MHDDT) to join our team at VA Medical Center in Overland Park, Kansas, in a full-time capacity or locum tenens.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Valid Driver's License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds repetitively and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, walking, pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting, and assisting with patient lifts

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, basic care and supervision to patients and residents at the state hospital
• Perform location checks, including observation and monitoring
