Job summary

Clarion Psychiatric Center, a UHS subsidiary, is hiring a Mental Health Technician (MHT) for a full-time, rotating shift schedule. The position includes 7:00am–3:30pm and 3:00pm–11:30pm rotations with weekend and holiday coverage.

Overtime may be available, and a $7,000 sign-on bonus is offered under qualifications. The facility provides inpatient treatment for adults and crisis stabilization for youth, within a 112-bed program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with patient care experience required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to remain calm in dynamic environments.
• Commitment to high level of patient care and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as a Mental Health Technician (MHT) within inpatient units.
• Work full-time rotating shifts (7:00am–3:30pm and 3:00pm–11:30pm) with weekend/holiday rotations.
• Be part of a collaborative, team-based treatment environment.
• Opportunity to cover various shifts and overtime as needed.
