Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Mental Health Tech- Pool to support nursing staff by completing portions of patient assessments, providing direct patient care, and monitoring safety across units. You will document care accurately and help lead therapeutic activities for patients in a fast-paced behavioral health setting.

Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or Equivalent, Basic Life Support certification, and 2 years of experience in human services or a BA in a related field.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in human services preferred.
• 2 years experience in a human services field or, in lieu of experience, a BA in human services required.

Responsibilities

• Completes portion of the patient assessment under RN direction.
• Provides patient care and monitors patient well-being.
• Assesses units for safety.
• Maintains complete and accurate documentation.
• Leads and co-leads therapeutic activities.
