Temple Health seeks a Mental Health Technician (Psych 4A) for the Episcopal Campus. The role includes patient assessment under RN supervision, patient care, safety checks, precise documentation, and leading therapeutic activities. Requires BLS, HS diploma; 2 years in human services or a BA in a related field. Full-time, day shift on the Philadelphia campus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in an area of human services preferred.
• 2 years experience in a human services field or a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Description

Under the direction of Registered Nurses completes portion of the patient assessment. Provides patient care, assesses units for safety and maintains complete and accurate documentation. Leads and co-leads therapeutic activities.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program in an area of human services ( Preferred

Experience

• 2 years experience in a human services field or in lieu of experience a Bachelor’s Degree
