Roxbury Treatment Center, a part of Universal Health Services (UHS), is seeking a Mental Health Technician on a per diem basis in Shippensburg, PA. The role supports adult to geriatric patients with acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services.
Shifts include 6:30am–7:00pm or 7:00pm–6:30am for 12-hour blocks, with 4–12 shifts monthly or 6 eight-hour shifts on the substance use disorder unit. Per diem status means flexible scheduling and eligibility for benefits described by UHS.

This position is per diem position that requires: 4- 12 hour shifts per month with 2 of the days being on the weekend. Or 6 8-hour shifts on the substance use disorder unit.
Our psych units work 12-hour shifts available - 6:30am - 7:00pm or 6:30pm - 7:00am.
Our chemical dependency unit shift available 8-hour shifts-6:30am-3:00pm or 2:30pm-11pm

The Mental Health Technician functions as an active part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction and role modeling to patients ranging in ages from adolescent through geriatrics. All MHT’s work under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
