Job summary

Hill Crest Behavioral Health Services is a free-standing psychiatric hospital serving adolescents and adults in the Birmingham area. The Mental Health Tech role is part-time on weekdays and weekends, with mandatory 8-day orientation and 12-hour weekend shifts.

Training is provided for CPR and non-violent crisis prevention as part of the onboarding process. The hospital emphasizes patient care, a supportive team network, and opportunities for professional growth within UHS and its affiliates.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED is required.
• One year of experience in a psychiatric setting/patient care preferred.
• Able to obtain CPR certification and non-violent crisis prevention certification (training provided).

Qualifications

We train you to be the best, but there are a few minimum requirements for this position:

• HS Diploma/GED Required
