Job summary

Hill Crest Behavioral Health is seeking a Mental Health Technician for the evening shift (3pm–11pm) with every-other-weekend 12-hour coverage, based at a free-standing psychiatric hospital serving adolescents and adults in the Birmingham area within the UHS network. Candidates must be available for an eight-business-day orientation from 8am–4pm.

Qualifications

• Verifiable High School Diploma/GED required.
• One year of experience in a psychiatric setting/patient care preferred.
• Ability to obtain CPR certification and non-violent crisis prevention certification (training provided).
• MUST HAVE availability for an 8-business-day Orientation from 8a-4p without interruptions.
