To assist with day-to-day management of patients on an inpatient psychiatric unit under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and Nurse Manager. The mental health tech will help with activities of daily living for patients unable to perform these tasks. They will be an integral part of the patient's treatment, assist with group activities including co-facilitation under the guidance of therapy staff, and help collect vital signs, patient information, and accuchecks. The role also includes responsibility for 15-minute safety checks and de-escalation of patients.

  • Certifications: Healthcare Provider (CPR), Safe Crisis Intervention for Patients and Professionals
  • Qualifications: Ability to handle confidential patient information, mature communication skills, crisis management, and willingness to follow leadership

  • Certifications: Employee will obtain CPR and SCIPP within 90 days of employment
