Job summary

BayCare Health Systems seeks a Mental Health Technician II at Mease Hospital Dunedin. Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree in related field preferred; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.
• Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.
• Assists with physical care under the direction of an RN.
• Promotes coordination of the unit by completing orders, making phone calls and directing calls and information to the charge nurse.
