Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification is expected.
• One year of psychiatric experience preferred.
• Ability to provide direct patient care and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of the charge nurse.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu for patients.
• Perform crisis intervention as needed.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Demonstrate flexibility for reassignment to units caring for varied populations.
