Northwest Center for Behavioral Health is seeking compassionate Mental Health Technicians to join our Lighthouse facility in Woodward, Oklahoma. Under close supervision, the MHT provides non‑professional direct or indirect care for consumers of behavioral health treatment in an inpatient setting, supporting safety and activities of daily living.

Qualifications vary by level: MHT I no experience required; MHT II one year of patient care; MHT III two years of patient care.

About the Position: Our Mental Health Technician (MHT) under close supervision, provides non‑professional direct or indirect care for consumers of behavioral health treatment in an inpatient care setting. This includes participation in de‑escalation activities and assuring that consumers are kept safe along with activities of daily living. This position works as a role model for consumers, demonstrating effective problem solving and decision‑making skills and will assist in providing recreational and therapeutic activities for the consumer. Job Type/Salary:

• MHT I $29,328.20/$14.10 hour
• MHT II $31,799.00/$15.29 hour
• MHT III $34,517.00/ $16.59 hour
• Shift differentialscan boost your hourly pay rate, and you can stack them! Working a weekend night would earn you an extra $2.18/ hour!
• Full Compensation Range of $39,327.00 - $57,537.00. Compensation range to include base salary, retirement and benefits allowance - dependent on the number of covered dependents!
• Primary Working Hours are NOC SHIFT 8:30 pm - 07:00 am
• FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Qualifications:

MHT III: Education and Experience required at this level consists of two years of experience in providing patient

Special Requirements:

• Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background.
• Applicant must be willing and able to fulfill any job‑related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.
• Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.
• (if Required)Applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and be able to pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.
