Mental Health Specialist (Mobile Crisis Response Team) - Overnight Shift

Join our team as a Mental Health Specialist (Mobile Crisis Response Team) - Overnight Shift at Clackamas County.

About the Role: This position involves providing crisis intervention, risk assessment, case management, and outreach to individuals experiencing mental health emergencies within Clackamas County. The role requires collaboration with law enforcement, emergency dispatch, and community partners, operating primarily in a field-based setting on overnight shifts.

Qualifications: Must be a Registered Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) as per Oregon standards. Candidates should have a graduate degree in mental health or behavioral sciences. Licensed professionals (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD/PHD) with at least two years of relevant experience are preferred. Unlicensed candidates require at least one year of relevant experience and must obtain CPR/First Aid certification within six months.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide emergent and urgent crisis assessments and interventions in the community.
  2. Coordinate follow-up services and document all contacts in electronic health records.
  3. Engage in community outreach and education to improve mental health response and support.

Work Schedule: This is an overnight, on-site position at the Clackamas County 911 C-COM facility, working four 10-hour shifts per week (Wednesday to Saturday, 10:00 pm - 8:30 am).
