Responsibilities include crisis prevention, de-escalation, and assisting with daily living tasks while ensuring compliance with program goals. Growth, paid training, and supportive supervision are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of experience with individuals with chronic mental illness or a degree in a mental-health–related field.
• Must be at least 18, with valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to use electronic documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with intensive behavioral and mental-health needs, using person-centered approaches focused on safety and engagement.
• Follow behavior support and treatment plans; apply crisis-prevention and de-escalation techniques.
• Keep living areas clean, safe, and structured; assist with daily living tasks and transportation.
• Document services, observations, and health concerns in electronic systems.
• Monitor changes, communicate with supervisors during crises, and support families.
