Indiana Regional Medical Center in Indiana, PA is seeking a Social Worker for Mountains Behavioral Health on a part-time, on-site basis. The role focuses on assessing and intervening to meet the needs of adults with mental illness, providing case management, discharge planning, and therapeutic interventions as part of an interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate has an MSW (or BAS with MSW supervision), at least 1 year of clinical experience, and BLS certification within 1 month of hire;

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work (MSW) required; bachelor’s degree allowed only under MSW supervision.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire.
• Licensure as appropriate.

Responsabilités

• Provide social work assessment and intervention for adults with mental illness.
• Perform case management, discharge planning, and care coordination.
• Participate in an interdisciplinary treatment team and provide therapeutic groups.
• Float to geropsych, adult, and adolescent units as needed.
