Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Social Worker (MH RRTP Case Manager) within the West Texas VA Health Care System to deliver psychosocial and case management services.

The role supports Veterans in MH RRTP programs, coordinating treatment plans, services, and community referrals to promote recovery and independence. The incumbent conducts biopsychosocial assessments, provides crisis intervention when needed, educates Veterans and families about VA entitlements, and collaborates

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work from a CSWE-accredited program.
• Licensure or certification in state to independently practice social work at master’s level.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face and telemental health services to Veterans.
• Serve as the case manager for an assigned panel of Veterans.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments within identified timelines.
