Highlands Behavioral Health System, an 86-bed acute care psychiatric hospital in Littleton, CO, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the health team.

The role involves mental health assessments, safe medication administration, and patient education, with rotating weekend requirements and 12-hour shifts. A CO nursing license and CPR are required; bilingual skills add $1/hr after 30 days.

Formación

• Current license to practice nursing in Colorado (or eligible).
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or bachelor’s program.
• Clinical experience in psychiatric setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine mental health needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Safely prepare, administer and monitor results of medications and treatments.
• Accurately document and communicate patient information.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and continuity of services.
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols and nursing standards in all patient interactions.
