Job summary

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital is seeking a Mental Health RN PRN to join our team. The RN will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and care teams in Orange Park, FL.

The role emphasizes advocacy, compassionate care, and adherence to standards of practice, with a focus on assessing, teaching, and managing patient care across shifts and settings.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Florida
• Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• ACLS certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 90 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and during each shift, identifying changes.
• Perform procedures and monitoring as ordered by the provider and document care in the MAR.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs to deliver exceptional care.
• Coordinate a holistic treatment plan with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery.
• Serve as liaison with community services to coordinate ongoing care for specialized patient groups
