Job summary

Chartiers Center is a private, non-profit organization serving adults with mental health challenges in Pennsylvania. We are seeking a Mental Health Residential Worker to support residents in developing daily living skills, provide hands-on coaching, and help maintain a safe, recovery-focused home where independence is encouraged.

Daylight, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts are available, with a 10% shift differential for the 11pm–7am shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid PA driver’s license is required.
• Experience in residential or mental health settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with developing and maintaining daily living skills to promote independence.
• Provide individualized skill training through hands-on assistance, observation, and coaching.
• Support the operation of the residential facility including laundry, housekeeping, shopping, and other tasks as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents while following policies and ensuring resident safety.
• Document resident progress and incidents in a timely, professional manner.
• Foster a supportive, recovery-focused environment and empower residents to achieve goals.

Chartiers Center is a private, non-profit corporation funded by state, county, 3rd party insurances and private funds. Services include intake, referral, outpatient therapy, psychiatric assessment, service coordination, substance abuse treatment, training and social rehabilitative services, crisis intervention, partial hospitalization, community outreach, day and recreational services for adults with intellectual disabilities, homeless outreach and housing program.As a Mental Health Residential Worker with Chartiers Center, you will play an important role in supporting individuals with mental health challenges as they work toward greater independence and recovery.
