The VA Boise Healthcare System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (RRTP) in Boise, Idaho. The RN provides patient-centered, recovery-oriented mental health care, conducts shift reports, safety checks, and psychoeducational groups within the unit.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, follow nursing processes, document assessments, and support patients toward self-management and improved outcomes throughout the continuum of care.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ACEN/CCNE).
• State licensure as a registered nurse; GNT exception may apply.
• Foreign nursing education requires degree equivalency validation.

Responsabilités

• Facilitates shift reports and hand-offs.
• Develops and implements nursing care plans.
• Documents assessments, plans of care, and safety rounds.
• Provides medications and procedures per policy.
• Leads or participates in MH interdisciplinary team activities.
• Supports recovery-oriented, patient-centered care.
