Job summary

The Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (RRTP) Mental Health RN at VA Boise Health Care System provides patient-centered, recovery-oriented care for veterans with mental health conditions. You will participate in interdisciplinary teams, facilitate psychoeducational groups, and ensure safety and quality in a dynamic treatment milieu.

Responsibilities include taking nursing assessments, administering medications, coordinating with physicians and social work, and promoting self-management

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited program per VA standards.
• Current, full, active nursing license in a U.S. state or territory.
• English proficiency for direct patient care per 38 U.S.C. 7403(f).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and psychoeducational groups as part of MH program.
• Administer medications per policies and coordinate care with the team.
• Lead shift reports and maintain patient safety observations.
• Engage in recovery-oriented, patient-centered care.
