FirstClass Healthcare is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive mental health care in a correctional setting. The role involves assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management with collaboration from a multidisciplinary team.
You will report to the Executive Director of Mental Health and/or VP of Mental Health, participate in trainings, and ensure compliance with federal and local regulations.
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive mental health care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management. The Psych NP collaborates with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and correctional staff to deliver high-quality mental health services in a secure correctional setting. This position will report directly to the Executive Director of Mental Health and/or VP of Mental Health.
This position will be subject to a background check.
The position requires the ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds with prolonged periods of standing, walking, sitting at a desk, viewing a computer and reading a variety of materials. Must be able to seize, hold, grasp, turn or otherwise work with your hands. Must be able to perform repetitive tasks, such as typing for extended periods of time.
