Job summary

Qualifications

• MSW from CSWE-accredited program.
• Must be licensed to practice social work at the MSW level.
• Experience with program coordination and administration.
• Ability to supervise multidisciplinary staff.
• Knowledge of social work practice in clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the MH Acute Unit and develop policies.
• Monitor documentation, workload, and ethical practice in the unit.
• Provide leadership, training, and supervision to staff.
• Conduct program audits and prepare reports for VA usage.
• Provide SW clinical services including admission, discharge planning, and case management.
• Support post-discharge contact and safe transition to outpatient care.
