Job summary

Friendship-House in Carbondale, PA seeks a licensed clinician to provide family-based behavioral health services in-home. You will conduct assessments and deliver individual, family, and group therapy using eco-systemic structural family therapy, coordinating with a mental health team and psychiatrist.

Flexibility for evenings/weekends is required, with 24/7 crisis coverage on rotation. Responsibilities include data-driven documentation, ongoing training, and collaboration with all systems

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family or psychology from an accredited college or university.
• 2 years' experience working with children & families.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial and on-going comprehensive assessments of identified families and youth.
• Provide individual, family and group therapy with identified families using eco-systemic structural family therapy model.
• Work collaboratively with assigned mental health worker team member to provide comprehensive services and linkages.
• Provide 24/7 crisis coverage on a rotating basis.
• Deliver services in a manner convenient to families, this includes evening and weekend service provision.
• Consult with psychiatrist on a regular basis and attend psychiatric appointments with the youth and family.
• Collaborate on a regular basis with all systems involved with the youth and family.
• Provide ongoing role modeling and skill building to families.
• Provide case management services as needed.
• Attend and participate in required eco-systemic family therapy trainings in addition to required state and local trainings.
• Demonstrate commitment to learning and practicing the eco-systemic structural family therapy model.
• Complete all documentation in a timely, comprehensive and legible manner and in accordance with Friendship House policies and procedures.

Job DetailsJob Location: Carbondale, PA 18407-2304Salary Range: $23.00 - $27.80 HourlyProvide intensive family based services as a team member with a behavioral health worker in an effort to prevent out of home placement and improve family relations. Services are delivered primarily in the family's home and include: individual, family and group therapy; assessments; service coordination; and crisis prevention/intervention.

• Contribute to any quality improvement/outcome measurement tracking and data gathering as assigned.
• Perform duties in a professional manner in response to clients, co-workers, and situations in which own values are challenged.
