Merakey's New Orleans, LA location seeks a Mental Health Professional to join the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team. You will provide individual and group therapy, develop treatment plans, assess psychosocial needs, and ensure timely clinical documentation.

Position is full-time, Monday–Friday with weekends on call. Requires PLPC/LMSW in Louisiana, and a valid driver’s license; compensation includes $26.44/hour and a $4,500 yearly mileage stipend.

Earn: $26.44/hour + $4,500/yearly mileage stipend

The Mental Health Professionals (MHP) are an essential part of the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team. The multidisciplinary team provides evidenced based services to members diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness within the greater Baton Rouge. The mental health professional provides individual therapy and group therapy to consumers in service. The MHP creates the person-centered treatment plan, review and change the individual crisis plan as required, and complete psychosocial assessments. Must maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation such as: progress notes, assessments, and interpretative summaries. MHPs provide crisis intervention and support.
