Invo Healthcare is hiring a Mental Health Professional for school-based services in Oakland, CA. This full-time role supports the IMPACT Mental Health Program, delivering counseling and assessments to students with diverse needs.

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and a multidisciplinary team to promote wellbeing and academic success in a dynamic school setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related behavioral health field.
• Current California license (LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT).
• Experience providing mental health services to children and adolescents.
• School-based experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to students with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• Complete comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions promoting emotional regulation and coping skills.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and community partners to support student success.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide mental health initiatives.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation and ensure compliance with state, district, and organizational standards.
• Help foster safe, inclusive learning environments where every student can thrive.
