Job Summary and Qualifications

The Mental Health Professional III provides exceptional psychiatric treatment, focusing on patient satisfaction through patient-centered, high-quality care. Responsibilities include evaluations, psycho-education, group activities, treatment planning, discharge planning, and therapeutic counseling, using verified techniques in individual, family, and group settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams.
• Maintain professionalism and resolve conflicts through good communication.
• Maintain professional boundaries and provide education on legal and ethical processes.
• Understand hospital codes and serve as an educational resource.
• Assist in training staff and interns, and participate in departmental goals and programs.
• Perform utilization reviews and contribute to process and quality improvements.

Qualifications:

• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 30 days of employment.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Master's Degree.
