Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Hawaii seeks a masters-level mental health professional to obtain necessary supervision hours for licensure. Under supervision, you will provide triage, assessment, and a range of psychotherapy services to adult and/or child members with mental health or addiction needs.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and direct individualized treatment programs, participate in supervision, and engage in ongoing training through workshops and seminars.

Qualifications

• Internships or practicum completed in a mental health setting during a master's program.
• Master's degree in one of the specified clinical fields.
• Licensure track and supervision hours toward clinical license requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family and group psychotherapy under supervision.
• Provide triage, assessment and crisis intervention under supervision.
• Develop and evaluate clinical treatment programs for health plan members with mental health or addiction needs.
• Participate in clinical supervision, including individual and group supervision and case conferences.
• Attend workshops and regional seminars and participate in staff meetings and referrals as needed.
• Prepare intake summaries, treatment plans, case summaries and maintain confidential records in accordance with Kaiser Permanente and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with regional policies, ethics code and state law in delivering mental health services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
