The Mental Health Practitioner provides rehabilitative mental health services to adults diagnosed with serious mental illnesses under the ARMHS program. This role involves assisting clients in developing and enhancing psychiatric stability, social competencies, personal and emotional adjustment, and independent living skills. Practitioners work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized treatment plans, conduct functional assessments, and deliver person‑centered services in clients' homes or community settings.
According to Minnesota Statutes, section 245I.04, subdivision 4, an individual is qualified as a Mental Health Practitioner if they meet one of the following criteria:
