The New York State Office of Mental Health is seeking a Mental Health Program Specialist 1, G18, to join the ACT/Clubhouse Unit within the Division of Community Program Policy & Management. You will help develop, implement and evaluate policies shaping mental health services, working with a team under the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as listed in the minimum qualifications.
• Two years of professional clinical or administrative experience in a state mental health program.
• Advanced placement or trainee pathways may apply based on education and experience.

Responsabilités

• Assist in developing OMH psychosocial clubhouses, writing program guidelines and policy.
• Draft state plan amendments, regulations, guidance, and standards of care as applicable.
• Collaborate with providers and state partners on policy and programming.
• Attend stakeholder meetings to improve access to services and support recovery-oriented care.
• Create webinars and trainings; provide guidance aligned with agency mission.
• Support implementation of programs with OMH field offices and inform program development.
• Assist with data collection and monitoring using PSYCKES, PME, and other sources.

Master's degree can substitute for one year of specialized experience
