Job summary
Telecare seeks an Outpatient Medical Records Technician - Mental Health to manage and process medical records and EHR data in a on-site program. You will perform release of information, data processing, and reporting while adhering to legal and ethical standards.
Ideal candidates have RHIT/RHIA credentials or an approved certificate, with 3+ years of EHR or medical records experience in psychiatric settings.
Qualifications
- Must have RHIT/RHIA credential or equivalent certificate.
- Experience with EHR and medical records in mental health settings.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and health information regulations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, store and process all medical records and EHR data.
- Perform clerical/technical duties including release of information and reports.
