Qualifications

• Masters level in Nursing or NP in Mental Health (education requirement).
• Background in nursing faculty, with mental health specialization.
• Completion of an approved RN education program as defined by Ohio law.
• Current active, unrestricted Ohio RN license and CPR certification; compact licensure may be required for teaching.
• Minimum two years of practice in the relevant field; teaching excellence expected.
• Strong communication, scholarly activity, and active professional involvement.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, evaluates, and advises students in classroom, lab, and clinicals.
• Maintains student records and contributes to curriculum development.
• Mentors new faculty and participates in scholarly activities.
• Contributes to program assessment and adherence to FERPA.
• Promotes a safety culture and patient-centered, evidence-based care.
• Engages in service to professional organizations and college functions.
