Job summary

Centurion Health is the provider of medical and mental health services for the Florida Department of Corrections. We are seeking a full-time Mental Health Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Suwannee Correctional Institution in Live Oak, Florida.

The LPN will deliver holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the supervision of RNs and medical staff, addressing a spectrum of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required.
• Ability to obtain CPR certification.
• Must be able to obtain security clearance including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients under direction of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs in a correctional setting.
