Mental Health Ketamine Infusion Nurse

Serenity Healthcare is hiring a Mental Health Ketamine Infusion Nurse (RN) for our Southlake office. The primary role involves providing IV infusion treatment, response management, and follow-up care to patients following a physician’s order for infusion. Serenity’s approach to treating mental illnesses emphasizes holistic care, supporting the whole person by creating an atmosphere of positivity, support, and healing in an outpatient setting. Trigger Warning: As an Infusion Nurse, you will engage with patients who have experienced significant trauma and may be struggling with suicidal thoughts. You will hear their stories as you support their healing journey. This aspect of the role may be triggering for some candidates.

Responsibilities

1. Administer infusion treatments to patients with chronic mental health issues, often in crisis due to severe depression and/or anxiety.
2. Communicate with the collaborating physician regarding patient care.
3. Assist the physician with questions about medications when not performing infusions.
4. Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license.
• Familiarity with medical software, IV pumps, and infusion equipment.
• Ability to remain calm if a patient becomes distressed.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for helping people.

Benefits

• Compensation ranging from $32 to $37 per hour.
