Job summary

Fernbrook Family Center seeks Bachelor-level student interns in psychology, social work, and related fields. Interns work under the direct supervision of a site supervisor, observing clinical activities and handling non-clinical tasks aligned with their learning requirements.

Duties include delivering mental health services in various modalities to children, adults, and families, documenting work, meeting productivity benchmarks, and coordinating with Fernbrook staff and external providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level student internship under supervision.
• Observation of clinical activities.
• Engage in non-clinical activities related to discipline learning requirements.
• Must align with program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work under direct supervision of the site supervisor; all services reviewed by the supervisor.
• Provide mental health skills-based services to clients through individual, family, and group modalities.
• Use culturally responsive strategies to address clients' needs.
• Complete documentation in alignment with standards.
• Meet required productivity and weekly billable expectations.
• Attend staff meetings and coordinate with Fernbrook staff and external providers.
• Uphold Fernbrook's mission and follow agency policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
