Job summary

Keystone Human Services is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide individualized, person-directed support to adults with intellectual disabilities, mental health needs, and autism in home and community settings. Our work emphasizes inclusion and helping people thrive.

As a Community-Based Direct Support Professional, you will assist with daily living skills, promote independence, arrange transportation for activities, and advocate for health and wellness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication abilities and basic computer skills.
• Valid driver's license with daily access to a privately owned and insured vehicle.
• Successful completion of pre-employment checks including clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to adults in home and community to improve daily living skills.
• Help individuals become more independent and advocate for health and wellness.
• Assist with transportation within the community for activities or appointments.

Job description

Keystone Human Services is currently seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team in providing individualized, person-directed support in the areas of intellectual disabilities, mental health, and autism. Our work focuses on inclusion and building communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and fully participate in everything society has to offer.

As a Community-Based Direct Support Professional, you will provide support to adults in their home and in our local communities, teaching and assisting with daily living skills, assisting to become more independent, transporting within the community for activities or appointments, and advocating for the health and wellness of the people we support.

Job details:

• Full time, non-exempt position
• $19.00 per hour

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Effective communication and basic computer skills
• Valid driver's license with daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle
• Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including clearances and verifications
