Job summary

FCC Behavioral Health in Caruthersville, MO seeks a full-time Diagnostician to deliver comprehensive assessments and develop individualized recovery care plans. The role requires a master’s degree in a related field and qualification under the state's mental health professional criteria.

You will conduct diagnostic interviews, prepare interpretative summaries, and coordinate with the clinical team to place clients in appropriate services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
• Must meet the Department of Mental Health's criteria for a qualified mental health professional.

Responsibilities

• Review assessment information documented at initial intake.
• Complete an Eligibility Determination within 24 hours of admission.
• Conduct a face-to-face diagnostic interview with person(s)-served and complete all required admission screenings.
• Develop the recovery care plan for person(s)-served with SMART goals, objectives and interventions.
• Assure written reports to appropriate persons or agencies are completed in a timely manner.
• Complete Interpretative Summary based on assessment data and the diagnostic interview.
• Work with Clinical Team in assigning person(s)-served to appropriate treatment services.
• Maintain/improve professional competencies through training activities and/or other educational means.
• Participate in clinical staffing of person(s)-served with notes on cooperation and participation.
• Ensure the program operates within CARF, DMH standards and strategic plan.
