A behavioral health agency in Washington, DC is hiring a Diagnostician to support the intake process by completing clinical assessments and treatment plans for newly enrolled clients. This role ensures compliance with documentation standards and supports the delivery of high-quality mental health services.

Responsibilities:

• Complete Diagnostic Assessments, DLA-20s, and Treatment Plans as part of the intake workflow
• Submit accurate and timely clinical documentation within 48 hours
• Adhere to all DBH regulations, Joint Commission standards, and internal policies
• Support therapeutic peer interactions during the assessment process
• Participate in quality improvement efforts, including outcomes tracking and satisfaction reports
• Complete incident reports (MUIs/UIs) when required
• Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field
• Active DC license: LPC or LICSW required
• Experience conducting diagnostic assessments and developing treatment plans

Pay:

• 80,000 - 89,000 annually
