Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a full-time Coordinator Mental Health-Crisis for day shifts to support patients with behavioral health needs. You will coordinate clinical care, supervise staff, and collaborate with the medical team to ensure high-quality care and patient safety.

The role requires a CSWE-accredited master’s degree, LCSW/LCPC licensure, and several years of post-graduate hospital/clinic experience in behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or Clinical/Counseling Psychology accredited by CSWE.
• Five years of post-graduate experience in assessment, consultation, and treatment of behavioral health patients in hospital or clinic.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all clinical aspects of care for patients receiving mental health treatment and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team.
• Oversees daily program planning and case assignment; provides clinical supervision for therapists and counselors.
• Provides direct patient care as needed and ensures compliance with standards and policies.
• Assists in recruiting, staff engagement, and annual performance appraisals.

Education
