Job summary

Providence Crisis Stabilization Center in Anchorage, AK is hiring for Mental Health Counselor (Masters level) at full time with evenings or nights. The role provides direct client care including assessment, treatment planning, individual, family, group and milieu therapy within a collaborative clinical team.

A Master's degree in psychology, counseling psychology, social work, or health-related field is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling psychology, social work, or health-related field.
• Licenses: LPC, LPA, LCSW, or BLS preferred.
• Minimum two years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of the clinical programming and provide direct client care (assessment, treatment planning, individual/family/group/milieu therapy).
• Plan and provide client, family, peer and community education and coordinate services with other health care professionals.
• Collaborate with physicians/ARNP responsible for client care; contribute to program development and quality care.

Education

Master's Degree in psychology, counseling psychology, social work, or health-related field

Professional Counselor License (LPC)

Psychological Associate License (LPA)

Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW)

BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
