The Mental Health Counselor II is an entry-level position suitable for individuals with a bachelor’s degree interested in working with individuals with chronic mental illness. The role offers opportunities to learn about medications and treatment modalities that contribute to recovery and quality of life, as well as exposure to medical and psychiatric issues related to long-term psychotropic medication use and aging.
Driving is required and will be frequent, mainly during the 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. shift, with some shifts from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and occasional overnight driving.
