Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related behavioral science area.
• Three years' experience in social work, clinical mental health counseling, or related field in a psychiatric in-patient or clinical environment.
• License or eligibility for licensure as LCMHC in New Hampshire preferred. Familiarity with basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Creates and implements therapeutic plans and relationships with assigned patients and ensures treatment plans progress toward goals.
• Provides patient-centered care focused on health and safety; conducts group sessions and education reflecting treatment plans.
• Maintains a safe therapeutic milieu and collaborates with supervision and staff.
• Communicates with other treatment staff regarding interventions and community resources.
• Maintains accurate medical records per Joint Commission and state standards.
• Promotes patient safety and reports concerns to supervisors.
