Riverside Community Care is seeking a full-time Mental Health Counselor in Millbury, Massachusetts. This role involves supporting residents in achieving personal goals and enhancing their emotional wellness within a Group Living Environment. Mental Health Counselor - Group Living Environment

• Help individuals strengthen their physical and emotional wellness while developing essential life skills.

• Create an environment where people feel safe, heard, and inspired to envision new possibilities for their futures.

Schedule

Full Time, 40 hours with a Tuesday - Saturday OR Sunday - Thursday schedule available!

Tuesday through Saturday option

• Tuesday 2pm to 10pm
• Wednesday 10am to 6pm
• Thursday 7am to 3pm
• Friday 2pm to 10pm
• Saturday 10am to 6pm

Sunday through Thursday option

• Sunday 7am to 3pm
• Monday 2pm to 10pm
• Tuesday 10am to 6pm
• Wednesday 7am to 3pm
• Thursday 2pm to 10pm

Pay Rate: $21.37/hour

Qualifications

• Must have a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in the English language) required
• Ability to work evening and weekend hours required. Must have valid driver's license and available, dependable transportation and be willing to provide transportation to persons served in personal vehicle, as needed

Required Experience

• Bachelor's Degree preferred. High School diploma and one year related experience required
• Experience working with recovery model, dual diagnosis, and/or addictionsa plus
