Job summary

Alexander Youth Network in North Carolina is seeking a Mental Health Counselor to support children in our Day Treatment Program. You will manage client behavior, document progress, and help coordinate services for families.

The role requires a BA/BS in Social Work or related field, or a BA/BS with 4 years of children’s mental health experience. A valid driver’s license and MS Office familiarity are required, and day treatment experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage behavior of clients in Day Treatment Program and record treatment progress.
• Assess needs of children and families and link to appropriate services.
• Lead group activities to support treatment goals.
• Ensure Person Centered Plan is created, modified and reviewed with Child and Family Team.
• Provide agency vehicle transportation as needed.
